The day tour consists of a 5 to 8 hour day depending on weather and sea conditions during which you will cruise the shoreline to observe seals, sea lions, and a variety of bird species prior to spending time ashore. You can choose to visit one of the following two islands:

Anacapa Island: You will spend 2 to 5 hours ashore during which time you can participate in a guided or independent hike on the 1.5 miles of nature trails or have lunch at one of the picnic tables. There is no drinking water or food service available on the island so guests should bring their own.

Santa Cruz Island: Landing will be at the Scorpions Cove or Prisoners Harbor where you will spend 3 to 7 hours ashore to explore over 14 miles of beautiful hiking trails. The Park can provide a guided hike or you can hike on your own convenience. After a vigorous hike, you can relax and satisfy your hunger at one of the several picnic areas available. Drinking water is available at Scorpion Cove, but guests will need to bring water at Prisoners Harbor. You should, however, bring your own food as food service is not available on the island.
